The Cedar Rapids Jaycee's have developed a Concert Series of Live Entertainment that takes place in the summertime at Green Square Park, Downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 2007 is the 19th year of this event and it allows people to unwind and relax in the park after a long hard week enjoying fine refreshments, great music and wonderful company.
This event also benefits the community as well! The Cedar Rapids Jaycee's run lots of projects in the area that help everyone from the youth to the elderly. Later in the year the Cedar Rapids Jaycee's will be assisting Habitat for Humanity in building the final home in Genesis Park. Also, as of this year the Cedar Rapids Jaycee's will have shared over $250,000 of the profits from this event with hundreds of other local community groups.
