The Cedar Rapids Jaycees have developed a Concert Series of Live Entertainment that takes place in the summertime at Green Square Park, Downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After having most of the 2008 shows at Cabo's Sports Bar the Cedar Rapids Jaycees are proud to have the Series return to Green Square Park!! The 21st year of this event has started a new program of partnerships with local businesses. This event also benefits the community as well! The Cedar Rapids Jaycees run projects in the area that help everyone from the youth to the elderly. Later in the year the Cedar Rapids Jaycees will be assisting Habitat for Humanity in building the final home in Genesis Park. Also, as of this year the Cedar Rapids Jaycees will have shared over $300,000 of the profits from this event with hundreds of other local community groups.
