The Cedar Rapids Jaycees have developed a Concert Series of Live Entertainment that takes place in the summertime at Green Square Park, Downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The 22nd year of this event has continued the partnership program with local businesses and added new ways that we can work together as a community....Look for details on this program and specials after Uptowns at these establishments on: Cedar Rapids Jaycees' UptownFridayNights. This event benefit the Cedar Rapids community by allowing the Cedar Rapids Jaycees to raise the funding necessary to run projects in the area that help everyone from the youth to the elderly. As of this year the Cedar Rapids Jaycees will have shared over $350,000 of the profits from this event with hundreds of other local community groups through the CR Jaycee Dream Maker grant program.
