The Cedar Rapids Jaycees have developed a Concert Series of Live Entertainment that takes place in the summertime at Green Square Park, Downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In the 23rd year of this event the CR Jaycees will continued their partnership program with local businesses and added new ways that we can work together as a community....Look for details on this program and specials after Uptowns at these establishments on: Cedar Rapids Jaycees' UptownFridayNights. This event benefits Cedar Rapids by helping the CR Jaycees to raise the funding necessary to run community development projects in the area that help everyone from the youth to the elderly. As of this year the Cedar Rapids Jaycees will have shared over $380,000 of the profits from this event with hundreds of other local community groups through the CR Jaycee Dream Maker grant program.
