The last two weeks went by so quickly that we didn't get a chance to update the site...we apologize for the delay. As you'll see Chongo and Mongo have been very busy!!!  Check out the links below for the shows that they saw!!  The weeks of 3-03-07 of   3-10-07 are accessible through the the links below and through Calendar At LARGE.

This coming weekend is St Patricks Day weekend so there will be plenty of opportunities to get out and have some fun...including the LARGE Midgets at the Chrome Horse on Friday Night, the Shamrock Bike Ride in Dyersville on Saturday and a lot of good bands playing all weekend long!  Check out the Calendar at LARGE link Thursday.
Happy St Joseph's Day to you all, don't forget about the parade on 3/24/07. This last weekend was a great one for the Irish and those who wish they were(Which is about everyone) Chongo and Mongo were out and about all weekend. 

Thursday night the dynamic Duo stopped down at the Cedar Rapids Piano Lounge to watch Josh Meisner do his acoustic thing. Friday Night Chongo went to the Fifth Gear for Billy 'n Me and Mongo was up at Java Creek Cafe for Billy Heller before they met down at the Chrome Horse to finish off the night with the LARGE Midgets.

Saturday they started with the Parade and then took off to a lot of different places from there. Check out the links below or go to the Bands page and access your favorite bands from there.  The Calendar At LARGE has the links on it as well and will be updated by Wednesday night.
Hi everybody, sorry it took so long to get the pictures up this week...we saw 20 shows this last week!! A lot of good music and a lot of good people out having fun!   The lbands that we saw are listed below and their band photo page can be found through the "Bands" link above.

Hey!!! What happened to spring?? It seems like it was just yesterday(or the day before) that it was 80 degrees out, and this week S@#*!! Gee, a person really has to have a good sense of humor to live in Iowa don't they... Anyway, there is no way we can control the weather, but at least we can get out and enjoy time with our friends and hear some great local bands on the live music scene! A lot of good music this last weekend and another great weekend coming up.  The bands that we saw are listed below and their band photo page can be found through the "Bands" link above.

There's good artists playing Wednesday and Thursday around the area if you want to get your weekend started early.  Check out the Calendar At LARGE  for the names and locations.

This coming weekend Superfly Samuri is playing at Cocktails and Company Saturday Night.  They are 3/4 of the band Wicked Liz...(AKA-The Bellyswirls)The will be jammin' the place with great Classic Rock. The Chrome Horse will have Swingin' Richard on Friday Night and All That on Saturday...If you need your fix of Cuntry, Unknown Highway is down at the DanceMor both Friday and Saturday.
